As the founder and maker behind The Dreaded Barbie, I combine traditional millinery techniques with a modern, Western-inspired aesthetic. From blocking felt to the final sanding and shaping, every piece is handcrafted in my Forestville, CA studio. When I'm not at the workbench, you can find me hiking the trails of Northern California with my husband and pack of rescue dogs or sailing the Caribbean trying to catch a tan and not motion sickness. I make hats for people who aren't afraid to stand out and get a little dust on their boots.
